We are a creative family of five: Dan enjoys creating beautiful and heartfelt wooden toys; Annie pours her heart into making magical dolls, gnomes, and other whimsy-filled treasures for little ones; and our three beautiful children are bobbin winding, toy testing, product designing muses.

We also stock the cutest range of plastic free fairy and gnome garden miniatures. Its probably safe to say we have the largest range of handmade gnomes in New Zealand. We take gnomes very seriously. We go plastic free where possible and also enjoy upcycling where possible. We stock some lovely natural based and nature inspired jewellery and health products.

Each of the products you see here on Wilderbox are either thoughtfully curated with natural materials and ingredients in mind; or they are hand-made right here in New Zealand. Emphasis is not only placed on what’s natural, but also what’s interesting, whats wholesome, what’s quirky, what’s delightful. Most of all we love to inspire and were doing it our own way, with love as a family.
