Guiro

This cool little percussion instrument is a great intro to rhythm and sounds for little ones. There are different sounds to be made by tapping the guiro in different places, and a wonderful sound can be made by running the button along the groves. 

Simple, sturdy, and makes sound when you whack it. Perfect for toddlers!
